NewsBeta trial started
The Markdown-based writing tool preferred by a decent amount of authors, bloggers and writers,
Ulysses*, is currently available for Mac and iPad only. The iOS version will soon become universal for Ipad (Pro) and iPhone. In addition there will be support for all the new and shiny features iOS9 arrived with, such as Split-View or Slide-over. Writers eager to give the app an in-depth beta test drive can as of now apply to participate in the beta program.
The upcoming major revision will be a free upgrade for existing customers, the Soulmen from Leipzig/Germany announced. The definite release date is not fixed yet, but the developers aim for Q1 in 2016.
500 users from varying areas of expertise and application knowledge will be selected for the Beta. This will best case help the developers make sure that all important use case scenarios and devices are thoroughly tested. In case you would like to volunteer you can do so
here until December 15th, 2015.
As soon as the universal app will be officially available, we are going to publish an extensive Review and a little competition with free licenses to win. We are both using the heck out of Ulysses and can recommend it without hesitation to anyone who is preferentially using Markdown for writing.
